Residential Ashram Program for pregnant women
Our Residential Ashram Program for pregnant women will be held at locations that are peaceful, beautiful, and quiet.
Our Focus:
- How to enjoy the bliss of pregnancy and the awareness of the baby growing inside
- How the mother can strive for a child with superior intellect, high thinking, morality, and lofty values
- Yoga, Prāṇāyāma (breathing exercises), Yoga Nidra, Meditation, Silent walking, and listening to soft music that helps mothers tune into higher consciousness and revitalize their body and mind
- Importance of a healthy and nutritious diet
- Relief from anxiety and stress
- Balance and equanimity
- A healthy and safe birthing process
Who Is Eligible for the program?
Pregnant women before their 34th week of pregnancy.
Who can accompany the pregnant mother?
They should be accompanied by their husbands or caregivers. Only one adult is allowed with a pregnant woman.
Ashram Program Duration:
Two days—Saturday and Sunday.
The participant will arrive at the venue promptly by 6 PM Friday and leave at 5 p.m. Sunday. Dinner will be served around 8PM. Please note that timings are diligently followed in the ashram and no exceptions or delays may be entertained.
The medium of instruction will be English & Telugu.
Fee Charged:
A Workshop Fee of Rs. 2,500 is charged per couple. The fee to the Ashram is non-refundable.
Meals and Snacks:
Tasty and nutritious vegetarian meals are provided three times a day, along with snacks twice a day.
Dress Requirements:
Loose-fitting cotton clothing is recommended for both men and women to facilitate yoga and meditation
Please keep your attire suitable to Ashram surroundings. Avoid short clothes
Venue:
Ramakrishna Mission, Ramalingampally, Keesara Road, Hyderabad, located 35 kms from Secunderabad Railway Station, and accessible by cab or ride-sharing services such as Ola, Uber, or Meru.
Important and Helpful Information:
- Please take care of your own belongings. The Ramakrishna Mission is not liable for loss or theft of your property
- While First aid services are available on the campus, we strongly recommend that you take the best possible care of your health and welfare. Please carry medicines recommended by your doctor
- Participants should bring towels, umbrella, warm woolen clothing, torch, mosquito repellant, toiletries, masks, and hand sanitizers. Bed sheets and Blankets will be provided. There is no laundry facility available
- Punctuality and Discipline are an integral part of the Ashram lifestyle. Please be on time for every session.
- Only limited use of Mobile phones is allowed. Ashram Programs are meant to bring a sense of calm and peace, hence avoiding any usage of mobile phones during the sessions is expected. Unless there is an emergency, mobile phone usage is prohibited during the program
- No photography is allowed
- No alcohol, tobacco, or toxic drugs are permitted on the premises
- Only one adult is allowed to accompany the pregnant woman
—- We understand that majority of families are nuclear and so if you need to bring along your older child, you may do so at an extra charge of INR 500/- - The Ashram contains all necessary facilities, so please refrain from stepping off the Ashram grounds during this program. This is to enable you to experience the pure and complete essence of our well-designed program
- Let’s save the environment! Please keep electricity and cold/hot water usage down to a minimum
